Lokon Marching Band Will be The Best Forever

Do you know what is a "Marching Band".?? Have you ever seen the Marching Band throughtout of your life.?
This is one example of the Marching Band..

MARCHING BAND.!!!

Marching Band is a group that playing many songs to amusing somebody or the audience...

Marching Band is divided into several section., each section has their own work... And of course each section has their own leader., we called it as Section Leader... Section Leader is a person that control or manage his/her own section... About the section tools., and about all the personnel... And one important thing., Marching Band must has a Leader that control everything., include of each section leader also.. That one we are known as Dancorps..


Lets talk about each section of Marching Band..
But this time., we are going to focus on Lokon Marching Band., are you ready.?????

First is section that we called "Percussion".. Percussion is one section that playing a song with using sticks and also cymbals as their own tools..

Can you guess who is the competitor of Percussion.?? It is "Hornline"... 
To become a member of Hornline., at least you must have a strong breath... The reason is to make you easier..... Because in this section you need to focus on how can you make a nice sound from the tools that you use..

And then the third is "Color Guard".. Color Guard is one section that playing a flag but sometimes they also using a rifle., actually this one is focus on visual appearance... Especially on Display..

Next is "Cheerleader".. Can you imagine how can one group of Marching Band doesn't have a group of cheerleader.?? So it's obviously the cheerleader has an important role., it's to attract the audiance.

And don't forget., a group of Marching Band without a leader who command you on the field is impossible.. so exactly it can't be happen..

Can you imagine how hard we have practiced for all the events.???

Because we are the best in North Sulawesi., we can't show a bad performance to the audience., so with that one purpose we must practice until dead.. And at last the audience will very satisfied and give us a very lively applause ...

How about our friendship with the coaches.??

Sometimes we think all the coaches are scary., but actually they don't..
You can't make something wrong..
If you do it., you will get a punishment.. Even though just one person fault., the punishment will be given to all the personnel..


It's evil right.??? But just think the positive side of this evil thing...

You can be more compact with each other and then by itself you don't want to think about your own self..
But automatically you will think about one team importance..

Have you ever heard before.?? Maybe this is your first time hear about this thing..

Just a simple word but has a lot of meaning.. Even though we are separated into several section., even though our equipments are different., even though we have been practicing in diffrent ways all this time., we are still One Band with One Sound.!!!

In Lokon Marching Band., we also have one activity that make us feel how good we are if we work together... This activity name is "Team Building"... Normally Team Building we made after our whole practices is finished... But Team Building has two types...

  

First is Team Building with each section (at noon)..

How about our equipments.?

Before you start your training., you need to check whether your equiment is ready to used or no...

Because if there is anything wrong with your tools., you need to repair it as fast as possible..
You can't just let your own tools get a problem and then just leave it without doing anything..

If you need any help., you can ask somebody to help you.. Because we are one team., we are all together..

Luckily., we have an alumni of Lokon Marching Band that still care to us..

  

Even though many of them had left from Lokon Senior High School., but they still care about us.. Their hearts are always be there for Lokon Marching Band..


Sometimes if there is no coaches that can train us.,

They spend their time to teach us as best that they can do.. These are a part of our alumni., sory I can't mention all the alumni one by one...

 Independence Day 17^thAugust

Every time at 17^th August Lokon Marching Band always follow the National Day in Tomohon... 

The audiance are very happy and then always waiting for our performance...

What is the newest events that Marching Band Lokon had particapted in.??

This is the newest event that Lokon Marching Band participated in 19^thAugust 2011.. This time the theme was about "Cinderella".. Quite funny right.?? This video is very good.. You should watch it.. This was being played by 8^th 9^th and 10^th Generations... After 7^th generation graduated..

So many championship that we have won from the 1^st year Lokon Senior High School has been built until now in "Isuzu Cup"., and we were always the winner.!!!!!!!!!! The last championship has been won by 6^th 7^th 8^th Generations (with extra 1 person from 5^th generation k'Anggi) with our work hard all that time and finally we had made it.. We did it.!!!
